Our Business
We operate in two businesses: Consumer and Industrial. We are present in 22 countries and our products are available in 100 countries, employing around 4,000 people.
Our Business
We have two business units:
CONSUMER (around 60% of revenue)
- Oral Care products including toothpaste, mouthwash, toothbrushes, interdentals and dental treatment, largely marketed under the GUM brand to consumers, with additional products for Oral Care Professionals including Periocline. Oral Care is around 90% of Sunstar’s Consumer business.
- Health Food and Beauty products in Japan under our Kenkodojo and Equitane brands.
INDUSTRIAL (around 40% of revenue)
- Chemical - Adhesives and sealants for the Automotive, Construction and Electronics industries is around 80% of Sunstar’s Industrial business.
- Material Core - Motorbike and automobile parts are around 20%.
- eScience - Indoor air sterilisation and deodorisation.
