What are your hobbies?

I enjoy doing handmade crafts like beadwork, crochet, and cross-stitch. They help me relax and feel refreshed. I also love traveling as it gives me new perspectives and energy.

What was your first job?

I started as a quality control chemist at a medical device factory. That experience became the foundation for my laboratory career path until today.

What inspired you to pursue your current career path?

I’ve always believed in the value of quality and doing things right. That belief has inspired me to grow in this field.

What fuels your passion at work?

Seeing our team grow together, developing new products to meet customer needs, maintaining high standards, and knowing that our work truly matters.

What is the most valuable lesson you have learned?

Consistency, teamwork, and attention to detail are key to long-term success.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

I set up and continue to maintain the ISO/TS16949 and IATF16949 Quality Management System standards for our company. And I’ve also helped Sunstar achieve targets and maintain major customer quality awards for many years.

What is your favorite thing about your career?

Working with great people, sharing knowledge, setting quality working standards, and helping younger teammates grow.

Tell us what you do at Sunstar.

I am the Senior Manager of the Engineering Division. I’ve been with Sunstar for over 20 years. I lead work in QC, R&D and Quality Management Systems.

What is the best part of working at Sunstar?

The teamwork, the support and the strong company values. It has always felt like a second home to me.

What would you like Sunstar to look like on its 100th anniversary?

I hope Sunstar continues to lead with innovation, quality and sustainability.
