What did you want to be when you were a kid?

I have always wanted to be a dentist. That’s why, when I entered dental school, I felt I was on the right path to fulfilling my childhood dream. Although I no longer practice as a dentist professionally, working at Sunstar — a company that believes in the role of oral health in overall well-being — gives me a deeper sense of fulfillment. It means I can contribute not only to improving oral health in Indonesia, but also across the wider ASEAN region.

How would your friends describe you?

My friends describe me as a very detail-oriented person. I tend to focus on understanding the reasons behind every situation before making a judgment. I might seem quiet at first, but once I feel comfortable, I can be quite talkative.

What are your hobbies?

I love watching movies; I find it relaxing, entertaining, and even educational. I also enjoy flower arranging; it has a therapeutic effect, helping to reduce stress and improve my mood.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

To be recognized as the best performer by a renowned business school in Indonesia for a Middle Management Project in 2014, competing against multiple departments from my previous company. What made it even more memorable was that it was the first time the Professional Business Line had ever received this recognition.

What was your first job?

I worked as a dental practitioner at a dental clinic in my hometown.

What is your favorite thing about your career?

I enjoy meeting new people from around the globe and learning about different work cultures.

I am the Head of the Professional Channel (Sales) in the Consumer Business division at Sunstar Singapore Pte. Ltd.

What is the best part of working at Sunstar?

We work in a small team where every member feels included and treated equally. Everyone is friendly, including those at the top level.

What would you like Sunstar to look like on its 100th anniversary?
