What are your hobbies?
I love spending my free time with my children and husband. My hobbies include reading, hiking, and exercising. I prefer to be outdoors as much as possible.
What was your first job?
My first job was an internship in the medical lab at a hospital in Poland. Shortly thereafter, I came to the United States and started working at Sunstar ever since.
What inspired you to pursue your current career path?
My career path at Sunstar began as a necessity to make a living in the United States. It soon became a second home for me, as I have been with the company for the past forty (40) years. I have developed many connections and friendships throughout the years and have watched Sunstar grow and change its name and location.
What fuels your passion at work?
The daily connections I make with my co-workers fuel my passion at work. I enjoy working with people and welcome any challenges that come my way.
What is the most valuable lesson you have learned?
I learned that being honest, friendly, and kind goes a long way. I have also learned how to face adversity and grow from challenging situations.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
My proudest accomplishment has been coming to the United States and starting a family with my husband. Both of us had to overcome many challenges in a foreign country, including learning to speak English, making a living for ourselves, and providing for our family.
What is your favorite thing about your career?
My favorite thing about my career is working with various groups of people and developing new relationships daily.
Tell us what you do at Sunstar.
As a shipping coordinator, I am responsible for all domestic shipments from all retail and professional sites.
What is the best part of working at Sunstar?
The best part of working at Sunstar is working for a company that is known for its products worldwide. It’s impressive to be able to go to stores and come across Sunstar based products. It shows that the individuals of this company have collectively helped and continue to help the company thrive and continue to grow globally.
What would you like Sunstar to look like on its 100th anniversary?
I would like Sunstar to maintain its success and professionalism and continue to be recognized throughout the world for the quality of its products and customer service. I would also like to see the employees of Sunstar continue to take pride in the company and their line of work, contributing to the continuous growth of the company.
