Hero-Background

What did you want to be when you were a kid?

I was always playing sports when I was young, so being a professional athlete was always in my mind

How would your friends describe you?

I hope they see me as an honest person who is always willing to help other people. Always ready to help out a hand when needed but also always ready for a good party 😊

What are your hobbies?

I have two great dogs, Australian shepherds (Gin & Tonic), so doing things with them is a great occupation. As mentioned before I like a good party with friends and of course, good food and drinks are always welcome!

What’s your favorite family tradition?

Before COVID, we always used to go on a 1-2 week holiday with the whole family (parents, sisters + family, girlfriend,…)

What is your proudest accomplishment?

Becoming a professional volleyball player and winning the Top Teams Cup (European cup) with Roeselare in 2002. Already long ago, it seems I am getting old 😊.

What was your first job?

Product manager Benelux for Kinetec (revalidation equipment for joints)

What is your favorite thing about your career?

I have always worked together with other people in a team to accomplish our goals. Since I see myself as a team player this is my preferred way of working.

Tell us in one sentence what you do at Sunstar.

I manage our team of sales reps to inform the professionals as well as possible and to support them where possible in a joint effort with our other departments (marketing, retail, …). I am also the contact person for all dental dealers in Benelux.

What is the best part of working at Sunstar?

Working with well-appreciated quality products in a company that remains human and strives to even improve that part.

What would you like Sunstar to look like on its 100th anniversary?

I would love it when Sunstar remains the company with a heart for its personnel like it has now, with a more ecological product range that would help out even more people around the world thanks to our continuous strive for improvements.
