What did you want to be when you were a kid?

I wanted to be a lawyer and fight in court very tough cases.

How would your friends describe you?

Very funny and witty, adventurous soul who always wants to run somewhere to check out a new exhibit, movie or event and an extreme workaholic who works way too much.

What are your hobbies?

Yoga, reading, travel, and movies. In terms of movies, I make sure to attend all the movie festivals that are happening in Toronto or across Canada every single year. And travel can be far or close – let adventure begins!

​​​​​​​ What’s your favorite family tradition?

Starting the day with coffee and chocolate to talk about plans and things to do for the day.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

My education. Right after completing my bachelor’s degree in American Studies, I decided to pursue business education and simultaneously completed two master’s – Master of Science in Marketing Management from Bocconi University in Milan and Master’s in International Business from Queen’s University in Canada. This education helped me a lot in my business career.

What was your first job?

My very first job was an internship at the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario as a Marketing Assistant. I was working on organizing events and trade shows to drive awareness for Italian Businesses in Toronto. Viva Italia!

What is your favorite thing about your career?

I fell in love with brand management during my school years and was very excited to learn how brands can become anything you want with great marketing. I love that in my career I never stop learning and always discover new things to push the business further. Over the past 10 years, brand marketing has become very fluid and speaks less and less about traditional marketing and more about transformation in the digital space and within non-traditional business channels. I am never bored for sure!

Tell us in one sentence what you do at Sunstar.

I look for opportunities to create magic for consumers every day, I take risks, go to the mat for them, and leave no stone left unturned – you need to be very agile these days to grab consumer attention.

What is the best part of working at Sunstar?

I think the best job is where you feel both challenged and appreciated and that is what Sunstar is about. Every day I feel empowered to conquer the world and I know that the company gives me the opportunity to explore new ways of doing business and challenge the status quo.

What would you like Sunstar to look like on its 100th anniversary?

A truly global Oral Care leader that pushes the boundaries of traditional marketing and innovation. And we are working hard to make this happen!
