Malin Östedt is Sales Representative at Sunstar Sweden. She joined Sunstar in May 2019.
What did you want to be when you were a kid?
I wanted to be a fashion designer. I loved my sewing machine and was always dressed in my own designs.
How would your friends describe you?
Kind, caring, fun, and always looking out for my friends. And also a great chef!
What are your hobbies?
I love cooking and baking, and I would say I am a classic soccer mom.
What’s your favorite family tradition?
Celebrating the Swedish Midsummer. I enjoy bringing all the family together to share games, food, drinks and dances around the midsummer pole. And, of course, nubbe.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
I must say my kids, of course.
What was your first job?
Working in a wedding boutique, helping brides to feel like the most beautiful bride in the world.
What is your favorite thing about your career?
That I still learn new things.
Tell us in one sentence what you do at Sunstar.
I process new and existing clinics and pharmacies, coordinate lectures at universities and attend events and fairs as a Sunstar GUM representative.
What is the best part of working at Sunstar?
I am very proud to be part of Sunstar, proud of all our products and the team in Sweden. Being a sales representative for GUM means that I am always welcome by my customers.
What would you like Sunstar to look like on its 100th anniversary?
I hope we have further spread the importance of oral care to many more people and how our products can help people stay healthier on a daily basis.
