Career-background
Before joining Sunstar, I worked in the production engineering department of a forging and machining company. I was drawn to Sunstar by the opportunity to creatively design and develop both existing and new products. This encouraged me to join the R&D department and embark on a different career experience.

Current work

My current job is to research and develop products. For example, I design jigs and fixtures for new products and identify potential product failures based on machine capabilities. I also trial new products, create process plans and propose improvements for existing mass production goods.

Working at Sunstar

My workplace is very fulfilling. I have great managers who give me the freedom to design new products and tools, and we work using machines which are regularly reviewed to keep up with global technology developments. I can feel the company’s commitment to developing the business and keeping us competitive.

Future goals

Sunstar Engineering Indonesia manufactures motorcycle parts such as disk brakes, sprockets and rotor sensors. With the experience in my current role, my goal is to widen my skills to other areas in the automotive manufacturing field and leverage our core business.
