What did you want to be when you were a kid?
When I was young, I wanted to be a scientist.
How would your friends describe you?
They would say I am optimistic and positive. At work, whenever there are difficulties in the project process, I would encourage team members and work with them to analyze and solve problems. We would pursue the results of the project and let everyone in the team make progress together.
What are your hobbies?
Tennis, badminton, reading. In terms of reading, I would also read some books about marketing and finance in addition to reading profession-related books. Now, with e-books or audiobooks, reading is even more convenient.
What’s your favorite family tradition?
My favorite family tradition is our weekly family gathering. We all catch up while sharing a delicious meal together.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
I am most proud of my education. Fortunately, I could complete my bachelor’s degree and master’s degree at Sun Yat Sen University. During my college years, I studied polymer-related subjects, which made me more interested in chemistry. At the same time, it also taught me the importance of independent thinking and teamwork.
What was your first job?
My first job was as a technology development engineer for copper-clad laminates. In this growth experience, I learned how to design formulas and analyze results, and I also got to meet many experts in the industry, who gave me great advice.
What is your favorite thing about your career?
What I like most is to see that I support developing products that help customers solve their problems and create benefits for the company at the same time.
Tell us in one sentence what you do at Sunstar.
I am mainly responsible for market research and product design of electronic adhesive products.
What is the best part of working at Sunstar?
I think the best part of working at Sunstar is that it provides a good platform for engineers and researchers to exploit their initiative, creativity, and capabilities to their full extent.
What would you like Sunstar to look like on its 100th anniversary?
I think Sunstar will be better developed than we are now in its 100th anniversary. Following our corporate motto, Sunstar will provide more convenience and solutions for people’s health, quality of life and natural environment.
