What did you want to be when you were a kid?
I wanted to be a pilot and while that did not turn into my profession, planes turned out to be a big part of my life. I’ve spent a significant amount of time flying for work and leisure over the past 25+ years and was fortunate to have met my wife on a flight.
How would your friends describe you?
I think they would describe me as fun overall (unless I am playing a golf match against one) with a great sense of humor along with hopefully loyal, supportive, and respectful. A good buddy to have around.
What are your hobbies?
My favorite pastime is playing golf which was cultivated in me at a young age by my Dad. I enjoy woodworking and am referred to as a “skilled” handyman/DIY-er by others. I happily take on big and small home improvement projects for our 1909 Craftsman. Wine tasting, cultivating my grilling abilities and traveling with my wife are also on the list.
What’s your favorite family tradition?
Enjoying Sunday dinner or any special meal at the table with my wife and daughters.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Helping Sunstar expand across the US.
What was your first job?
Detassling corn (You may need to look this one up) - try imagining hot and humid summers in Indiana working your way through corn fields for the day.
What is your favorite thing about your career?
The ever-changing landscape of the business and that each day brings new challenges to overcome.

I manage the strategic growth partnerships for SAI with Amazon and Costco in the United States.

Being part of a team that has embraced our cultural transformation which has allowed us to partner with retailers to grow consumer awareness and drive profitable growth for SAI
