Hero-Background

What did you want to be when you were a kid?

When I was a kid, I wanted to be a doctor. In my imagination, a doctor was a person wearing white clothes, listening to patients’ complaints about their ailments, and then providing assistance. Making patients healthy and happy is a matter of pride.

How would your friends describe you?

A working mom who really cares about her family and work is strict and perfectionistic as a leader, always busy, but loves eating food together, and is friendly and melancholic.

What are your hobbies?

Traveling with families or friends, reading novels, and watching Korean Dramas.

What’s your favourite family tradition?

On the weekend or Holiday, we gather, whether it's just to eat, travel, or staycation somewhere. But the special day is “Lebaran/Eid Mubarak”, since childhood, we celebrated it with our parents' extended family (Lebaran/Eid Mubarak is a big day for Muslims).

What is your proudest accomplishment?

Successfully negotiated with customers to increase our sale prices and gained new customers for EVs.

What was your first job?

I have worked at Sunstar Indonesia since I graduated from university, progressing from Leader in Quality Control/Quality Assurance to my current position as Sales Manager.

What is your favourite thing about your career?

Learning and acquiring new skills to create a plan or strategy that will be executed.

Tell us in one sentence what you do at Sunstar.

I am responsible for Sales, which primarily involves gaining sales orders. We aim to strengthen the Sunstar brand through branding and aggressively approach potential customers to secure new business.

What is the best part of working at Sunstar?

The pleasant people, caring for employees, and the opportunity to learn. I feel that Sunstar is my soul and second home, maybe because I started working at Sunstar right after graduating from college, and Sunstar Indonesia was just establishing its facility. This means we grew together from the beginning. When I first joined, I trained at Sunstar Japan to prepare for production in Indonesia. I found the people there to be very kind and hardworking, and I wanted to be like them.

I was very touched and grateful when Indonesia’s economy and politics fell in 1998, and Sunstar and its employees outside Indonesia gave donations, which were very meaningful to us at that time. When I joined, Sunstar was a new company in Indonesia, and I had the opportunity to learn everything and improve step by step.

What would you like Sunstar to look like on its 100th anniversary?

I would like SUNSTAR to be a global company that always satisfies its customers. Additionally, it should continue to maintain employee welfare and good governance.
