What are your hobbies?

I love to do muscle training and work out. Currently, I am training every day in preparation for the Physique Tournament in July 2023.

I also travel to eat delicious food. I enjoy coffee too, so I often go to coffee shops on my days off.

 What’s your favorite family tradition?

It is to have a hotel vacation with the whole family when I return to Osaka from Tokyo.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

Because of the current economic situation, the cost of each product (adhesives, etc.) is rising due to the soaring prices of raw materials, etc. Under such circumstances, we improved profitability through price revision activities for the manufacturers in charge.

What was your first job?

My first job was in charge of Honda Motor Co., Ltd., visiting factories and following up on products (adhesives) being used.

What is your favorite thing about your career?

What I like most about my job is that I can talk directly with customers and listen to their feedback.

Tell us in one sentence what you do at Sunstar.

I mainly sell adhesives for automobiles.

What is the best part of working at Sunstar?

Takatsuki City, where our Japan head office is located, is the city where I spent most of my life. My hometown’s company is globally contributing to helping people everywhere achieve better health and enhance their quality of life, and I am very happy to work for such a company.

What would you like Sunstar to look like on its 100th anniversary?

We would like to further expand our business not only in Japan but also globally, and to become a company that contributes to society, recognized and loved by many people. To realize this, I believe that it is necessary for all employees to unite and make Sunstar more exciting than ever. I will do my best as one of them.
