The 47% of the Sunstar Group sales are now achieved in other regions of the world: the Americas, Europe, and Asia. For the area excluding Japan, the sales ratio increased 3% from the previous year, showing a clear growth in the global business.
The Oral Care sector accounts for 52% of the total Group revenues. Significant growth was achieved during 2014 in both the Americas and Europe, particularly due to the continuing positive business development in South America. In Europe, we enjoyed both increased sales and higher brand recognition due in large part to new product introductions and increased investment in advertising. The Chemical and Motorcycle sectors are growing globally, especially in Asia. Specifically, sales in the automotive peripherals have remained strong.
