We are committed to creating businesses that enhance general health through oral health and make living and moving spaces healthier and more comfortable. Our strategy for achieving healthier, more comfortable lives for people is guided by four key pillars: a supportive work environment that emphasizes the mental and physical well-being of our employees, environmentally-conscious business operations, robust partnerships with our stakeholders built on mutual respect and shared values, and reliable management framework that engenders trust and ensures long-term viability.
Sunstar has grown its ancestral business into many new branches, such as in oral care, health foods, cosmetics, and indoor air quality improvement, adhesives, sealants, metal parts on a global scale. We are proud to have a global team comprised of individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and value systems, all collaboratively working towards a unified goal. During an online ceremony in 2022 to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Sunstar’s establishment, team members from around the world articulated their visions and goals in anticipation of the company’s upcoming centennial milestone. The diverse and compelling messages we received strengthened our belief that by uniting the efforts of Sunstar employees worldwide, we can make significant contributions to society’s well-being and environmental sustainability, thus enriching the lives of individuals and promoting the long-term viability of our planet.
Going toward the centennial of Sunstar, we will pursue “Well-being & ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance)-driven management”— that is, the creation of new businesses and sound business operations that contribute to the well-being of people and the planet — by listening to the voices of Sunstar’s stakeholders and leveraging the power of our employees.
