In 2019, we revealed the Sunstar Group Long-Term Vision 2032, outlining the ideal image we hope to emulate by the year of our centennial anniversary. The vision represents our ongoing commitment to continue developing as a company working for the benefit of society, tackling social issues through businesses that utilize our strengths based on a mission to encourage healthier lifestyles through oral health and to create safer, more comfortable living environments. We also believe that by pursuing business activities in line with our long-term vision, we will be playing a part in the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations.

In addition to business growth, we are focused on 1. Reducing our environmental footprint; 2. Forming partnerships (cooperation and collaboration) with local communities, experts and business partners; 3. Increasing employee happiness; and 4. Strengthening our management platform in areas including compliance and risk management. By implementing these strategies, we aim to become one of the most dependable companies in the world.

Our world is rapidly changing due to the division of nations, environmental destruction, natural disasters, advances in AI and IoT, and COVID-19. At Sunstar, we listen to stakeholders on these various social issues and topics, consider how to use our unique strengths to address them, and conduct business operations from a long-term perspective based on ESG management.

There are only 10 years left until our 100th anniversary of our founding.
As part of our journey towards becoming a centennial company, we will continue to follow and adapt to ever-evolving global conditions and social trends while entering into dialogue and collaboration with people all over the world to create new value in pursuit of a more sustainable society.
