The Sunstar Group Long-Term Vision and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

In 2019, we revealed the Sunstar Group Long-Term Vision 2032, outlining the ideal image we hope to emulate by the year of our centennial anniversary. The vision represents our ongoing commitment to continue developing as a company working for the benefit of society, tackling social issues through businesses that utilize our strengths based on a mission to encourage healthier lifestyles through oral health and to create safer, more comfortable living environments. We also believe that by pursuing business activities in line with our long-term vision, we will be playing a part in the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations.

In addition to business growth, we are focused on 1. Reducing our environmental footprint; 2. Forming partnerships (cooperation and collaboration) with local communities, experts and business partners; 3. Increasing employee happiness; and 4. Strengthening our management platform in areas including compliance and risk management. By implementing these strategies, we aim to become one of the most dependable companies in the world.

Our world is rapidly changing. Alongside divisions between nations, environmental destruction, natural disasters, and advancements in the fields of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT), the COVID-19 pandemic is changing the very fabric of our society. Sunstar is making every effort to uphold the health and safety of its global workforce and maintain stable operations at manufacturing facilities.
